139.02 PERSONNEL.

   (a)   The individual and/or entity with which the City contracts for Building Department Services shall provide the state-certified inspectors required to enable the City to meet the requirements of a Residential Building Department necessary to enforce the Residential Code of Ohio for One, Two and Three-Family Dwellings as well as a Nonresidential Building Department under Chapter 3781 of the Ohio Revised Code.

   (b)   The following additional personnel shall be appointed by the Mayor under the immediate supervision of the Building Official. These personnel shall receive the compensation as Council shall designate from time to time:

      (1)   Building Secretary (one);

      (2)   Full-Time Clerk/Secretary (one);

      (3)   Consulting Architect (one). (The Consulting Architect shall be a registered architect to be employed as needed, at the discretion of the Building Official and approval of the Mayor to inspect and review industrial, commercial and apartment construction plans);

      (4)   Landscape Architect (one).

      (5)   Part-time Building Inspector (in-house) who shall possess all current state certifications necessary to enforce all residential codes for One, Two and Three-Family Dwellings including all applicable city, state and federal codes.
