137.05 TEMPORARY FIREMEN IN EMERGENCIES.

In times of emergency, the Mayor may appoint additional personnel in the capacity of special temporary firemen as he may deem necessary. Such appointments, when made, shall be on a temporary basis, and persons so appointed shall receive compensation only for the time actually devoted to fire duties at the direction of the Mayor or the Fire Chief.
