135.247 HOLIDAY COMPENSATION.

(a) Full-time employees in the Division of Corrections shall, for all hours worked by an employee on any of the holidays specified in Section 157.09, excluding all personal days, be paid at the overtime rate of two and one-half times the employee’s regular rate of pay which includes the holiday pay. An unworked holiday shall not be counted for purposes of computing overtime liability.

(b) When a holiday occurs during an employee’s scheduled vacation, he or she shall be paid for the unworked holiday in addition to their vacation pay at their regular straight time rate of pay.
