134.01 DIRECTOR.

(a) The Department of Public Safety shall be in the charge of a Director of Public Safety, which Director may be the same person who holds the position of Mayor.

(b) The Director of Public Safety shall receive such compensation as Council may from time to time provide in the comprehensive salary ordinance of the City.
