133.04 WORK CLOTHING AND MATERIALS.
The regular full-time personnel in the Department of Public shall receive, in addition to their regular compensation, the following items of work clothing and materials which shall be paid for the by City: one pair of safety glasses; wet weather and dry weather service gloves; and rain gear (jacket and pants). Such employees shall also receive an annual allowance of two hundred dollars ($200.00) toward the purchase of safety shoes. Shoes and boots shall meet U.S.A. standard Z41.1-1967, classification 50 or 75, and shall be stamped or otherwise identified with this standard. Employees must provide the City with proof of purchase, and employees who receive such shoes must wear safety shoes at all times. The above-mentioned items of equipment and clothing shall be provided in addition to regular allowances made for the supply of uniforms to such personnel.
