127.08 SECRETARY TO THE DEPARTMENT OF LAW.

(a) There is hereby established in the Department of Law the full-time position of Secretary to the Department of Law to be selected by the Law Director and to receive such compensation as Council may from time to time provide. The Secretary to the Department of Law shall also serve as Secretary of the Civil Service Commission and may serve as Secretary to other Boards or Commissions as assigned by Council as an assistant to the Clerk of Council. The Secretary to the Department of Law shall perform other duties as assigned by Council with the approval of the Law Director.

(b) The Secretary to the Department of Law shall be at least eighteen (18) years of age and be a high school graduate or possess equivalent experience and/or relevant education.
