125.05 STANDARDS OF CONDUCT; CONFLICTS OF INTEREST.

The Engineer, acting for and on behalf of the City, shall not engage in activities which might tend to impair his or her independence of judgment, seek unwarranted privileges influenced or have an interest in enterprises which might be influenced by decisions he or she must make on behalf of the City. He or she shall act in accordance with any existing or future standards of conduct or code of ethics that might be adopted by Council to govern or regulate the acts of officials of the City in general.
