125.01 ESTABLISHMENT; QUALIFICATIONS.

The position of Municipal Engineer is hereby created. Such Engineer shall perform such duties and assume the responsibilities as provided by Council. He or she shall receive such compensation as Council may from time to time provide by resolution. He or she shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall serve at the pleasure, and shall be subject to the direct supervision and control, of the Mayor. He or she shall be a professional Engineer registered to practice in the State of Ohio. The Municipal Engineer shall have a Surveyor registered to practice in the State of Ohio in his or her firm available to assist him or her.
