SECTION 8.04.05. DIVISION OF BUILDING ENGINEERING AND INSPECTION.

The Division of Building Engineering and Inspection shall consist of a Building Commissioner and such other personnel as the Council shall deem necessary and advisable, all of whom shall be appointed in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission and the provisions of this Charter with the exception of the Building Commissioner who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Council. (Amended June 2, 1981)
