130.01 CREATION AND PURPOSE.

Under the provisions of Article VIII, Section 8.01.01 of the City Charter, there is hereby created the Department of Human Resources, effective February 16, 2021. The principal function and purpose of this Department shall be to administer the City’s human resources. The Department shall also be charged with ensuring the City’s compliance with all federal and/or state statutes and administrative regulations governing employment of City personnel.
