1178.01 PURPOSE.

(a) The purpose of this chapter is to establish standards for the regulation and location of adult day care centers within the City of Bedford Heights which may be authorized only in B1, B-2, B-3 or I zoning districts, contingent upon approval of the Planning Commission of the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit in such districts and compliance with the requirements and provisions of this chapter. Adult day care centers are prohibited in all other use districts.

(b) Such uses shall meet all applicable federal, state or local requirements including, but not limited to, licensing, health and safety regulations.

(c) Exterior site plans shall include adequate lighting, sidewalks and drop-off zones and shall provide for the separation of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
