SECTION 6.03. ORGANIZATION.

   In January, 1960, and in January of each second year thereafter, but not later than the 7th day thereof, the Council shall meet in the Council chamber and organize. At such organization meeting, the Council shall elect by a majority of the Council one of the members of Council to serve as the President of Council, and the Council Members of such boards and commissions, as required by the Charter each to serve until the next organization meeting unless he shall cease in the meantime to be a member of Council. Effective January 1, 2009, the President of Council shall preside over all Council meetings. No person shall serve as President of Council for more than two consecutive terms.
