141.02 DIRECTOR.
   (a)   The Director of Community Life (Full-Time), shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall be supervised by the Mayor, shall be responsible for the overall strategic and operational management and planning and budget of all programs and activities of the Department of Community Life and municipal swimming pools, the City parks, the playgrounds, the community center, outbuildings and ball diamonds. The Director of Community Life shall supervise all full- time and part-time staff members of the Department of Community Life (with the exception of employees contracted by the City from other agencies). The Director of Community Life shall also be responsible for all operations, which includes marketing and promotion of the Community Center and Municipal swimming pools, parks and playgrounds and all Department of Community Life programs and activities. The Director of Community Life shall be responsible for the supervision and management of all divisions of the Community Life Department.
