953.02 ISSUANCE OF PERMITS FOR USE AND RENTAL OF THE COMMUNITY CENTER.

   Permits for the use and rental of the Community Center or parts thereof on any given day (except for the following holidays: New Year's Eve after 3:00 p.m., New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve after 3:00 p.m. and Christmas Day) shall be issued to that person or organization which first applies for use and rental on such day. Residents, non-residents, businesses, or organizations shall be entitled to rent the facilities once per year. However, any application may be denied and a permit for use and rental may be refused if the Community Center or any substantial portion thereof will be required on the day, for which use and rental is sought, by Council or any other official municipal group, organization or committee. Rental reservations for the upcoming year shall be open to Bedford Heights residents the first week in November for the entire year and to all other renters by the third week in December for January 1st through June 30th and by the first week in April for July 1st through December 31st.
