(a) Council does herein recognize and adopt the logo, as set forth below, to be the official logo for the City of Bedford Heights.

(b) The official logo of the City shall be and remain the property of the City of Bedford Heights until revised, redesigned and replaced by action of Council and use thereof is protected by copyright.
(c) The official logo of the City shall not be altered, defaced or used in a degrading manner.
(d) The official logo of the City may be used by the City solely for public, civic and/or City purposes of any official nature, and use by or for any individual, organization or group for political or personal purposes is expressly forbidden, unlawful and prohibited unless expressly permitted by the Mayor, in writing, solely for the above permitted purposes.
(e) The official logo of the City shall not be used as substitute for either the seal of the Mayor or the seal of the Clerk of Council of the City, which letter seals, consisting of the coat of arms of the State of Ohio engraved in the center including the words “Bedford Heights, Ohio” engraved around the edge, shall be used respectively on documents and attestations executed by the Mayor or by the Clerk of Council.
