755.12 INSPECTION; PENALTY.

   (a)   The Police Division shall, from time to time but at least twice a year, inspect each Adult Entertainment Business and Adult Motel licensed under the provisions of this Chapter in order to assess compliance with the provisions of this Chapter.

   (b)   The Building Commissioner shall, from time to time but at least twice a year, request that the Health Commissioner inspect each Adult Entertainment Business and Adult Motel licensed under the provisions of this Chapter in order to assess compliance with the provisions of this Chapter.

   (c)   An applicant or licensee shall permit representatives of the Bedford Heights Police Division, Fire Division, Building Division or other City departments or agencies, or the Health Commissioner to inspect the premises of an Adult Entertainment business or Adult Motel for the purpose of insuring compliance with the law at any time that it is occupied or open for business.

   (d)   Any person who operates an Adult Entertainment Business or Adult Motel or his or her agent or employee who refuses to permit the lawful inspection of the premises shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
