1501.01 ADOPTION.

   There is hereby adopted by the City for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain code known as the Fire Prevention Code recommended by the American Insurance Association successor to the National Board of Fire Underwriters, being particularly the 1976 edition or the most current edition or update thereof including all additions, deletions and amendments made subsequent hereto, and the same are hereby incorporated herein as if fully set out at length and the whole thereof, including Appendix A, B, C and the complete index thereof, except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, added, modified or amended herein, of which Code not less than three copies have been and now are filed in the office of the Clerk of the City and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. From the date on which this section takes effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of Bedford Heights, Ohio.
