1393.01 MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES.

(a) Owner. The owner of every building or structure or his appointed agent shall be responsible for maintaining in a clean and sanitary condition the shared or common areas of the premises.

(b) Occupant. The occupant of any building or structure shall be responsible for maintaining in a clean and sanitary condition that part of the premises which he occupies and controls.
