1333.05 APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION.
   (a)   Application for a Certificate of Registration shall be upon the form issued by the Building Commissioner. Application shall be granted if the Building Commissioner finds that the Applicant is qualified to perform the work for which the Application is sought as set forth in this section.
   (b)   Evidence that the Applicant is currently licensed by the State of Ohio, has successfully passed a qualified examination conducted under the authority of a governmental jurisdiction, or has successfully completed a training program sponsored by an accredited apprenticeship, trade school or trade association shall be sufficient evidence of qualification as to authorize the issuance of a Certificate of Registration.
   Any contractor who has performed satisfactory work one year prior to the enactment of this section and whose work has been approved by the Building Commissioner shall be deemed to have furnished sufficient evidence of qualification so as to authorize the issuance of a Certificate of Registration.
   (c)   Evidence of repeated violations of this Building Code or other ordinances shall be sufficient evidence to disqualify the Applicant from receiving the Certificate of Registration.
