1333.04 AGE AND CHARACTER OF REGISTRANTS, LICENSEES, AND HOLDERS OF CERTIFICATES OF REGISTRATION.
(a) No applicant shall be issued a certificate of registration under the provisions of this chapter, unless such applicant shall be:
(1) Not less than eighteen years of age;
(2) Able to read and write the English language; and
(3) Of good moral character. In considering the moral character of an applicant, the authority passing upon application may determine that an applicant with a record of repeated violations of the Building Code of the City or of other laws or ordinances regulating building construction in the City, or of dishonest practices or malpractice in the conduct of a business, trade, or profession, is of poor moral character, and that it is in the public interest that such applicant shall not be registered or hold a certificate of registration.
(b) When an applicant for registration is a firm or corporation each responsible member of such firm or corporation, listed as such in the application for registration, shall individually be qualified for registration under the provisions of this section.
