1331.04 LICENSE TO OPERATE REQUIRED.

   No person shall operate or maintain a swimming pool until a license therefor has been issued by the Safety Director. The license for a family swimming pool shall be issued for an indefinite period but shall not be transferable as to person or location. The license for a public swimming pool shall be issued yearly and a new license shall be secured on or before May 1 of each year, which license will permit operation and maintenance until the following April 30.

   All licenses shall be in writing and shall state the conditions thereof and the term for which they are granted. No person shall conduct, operate, maintain or manage any swimming pool without complying with the requirements of this chapter. The Division of Building and the Department of Public Safety are hereby charged with the enforcement of the provisions hereof.
