1331.02 CONSTRUCTION PERMIT AND APPROVAL REQUIRED.

   Before work is commenced on the construction of a public swimming pool, permanent type family pool, public wading pool or permanent type family wading pool or on any alteration, addition, remodeling or other improvement thereto, an application for a permit to construct and the plans and specifications and pertinent explanatory data hereinafter required shall be submitted to the Building Commissioner for approval and no part of the work shall be commenced until the Safety Director and the Building Commissioner have evidenced their approval by a suitable endorsement upon such plans and specifications and have granted a permit therefor. All permanent type swimming pools and wading pools shall be treated as separate and distinct structures subject to all the rules and regulations of the Zoning Code and this Building Code.
