1329.07 PLUMBING, SEWER AND SPRINKLER FEES.

 

(a)   Plumbing: New Construction.       (1)   One-family dwellings, per unit         $75.00       (2)   Apartments, motels, hotels, per dwelling unit   85.00       (3)   Business, commercial, industrial         150.00      (b)   Plumbing: Additions, Alterations, Repairs and Replacements. A fee shall be charged for each permit issued for any and all plumbing and sewer installation, alteration or addition to single-family, apartments, motels, hotels, industrial and commercial, as per the following schedule:        Base Fee:       Residential                      $50.00       Commercial                     100.00       Plus, for each of the following:        (1)   Each fixture                  5.00    (including but not limited to bar sink, bath tub, bidet, dental equipment, dishwasher, drinking fountain / water cooler, floor drain, kitchen / lavatory sink, laundry tub / tray, shower, urinal, water closet, etc.)       (2)   Downspouts                  5.00       (3)   Garbage disposal               15.00       (4)   Hot water tank and heater            25.00       (5)   Sump pump                  15.00       (6)   Yard drains                  25.00       (7)   General Water Lines               15.00    (c)   Waterproofing (repairs only).            $100.00       Plus an additional fee per lineal foot of drain tile      1.00       Plus an additional fee for each sump pump       (Separate electrical permit required.)         15.00                    (d)   Gas Piping (installation of).          Base fee                     $ 50.00       Plus for each outlet                  1.00    (e)   Storage Tanks (water for each tank).          For capacities up to 1,000 gallons            $25.00       For each tank up to 12,000 gallon capacity         50.00       For each tank over 12,000 gallon capacity         75.00    (f)   Water Connection to Air Conditioning Units.          For each unit                     $25.00    (g)   Sewers, Drain Pipe or Tile; New Construction, Additions, Alterations, Repairs and Replacement.          (1)   Initial fee                  $75.00       (2)   For each 100 feet or fraction thereof for three-inch          through six-inch sewer            20.00       (3)   For each 100 feet or fraction thereof for eight-inch             to ten-inch sewer               25.00       (4)   For each 100 feet or fraction thereof for twelve-inch             or larger sewer               $35.00    (h)   Sprinkler (New or alteration).          Base fee                     $250.00       Plus per 100 square feet               2.00       Each sprinkler                  1.00      (i)   Landscape Sprinkler Systems.       (Specific backflow device required.)       Single Family Residential               $50.00          All others                     100.00    (j)   Main Water Line Replacement.       Base fee                     $ 30.00       Plus per foot                     1.00    (k)   Systems required to comply with the Ohio Administrative Code §4104:8.       Pressure Piping Systems Code            No Charge

   (Those required to obtain a permit from the Pressure Piping Bureau are required to provide the Bedford Heights Building Division with a copy of such permit and reports of all inspections performed by the Ohio Pressure Piping Bureau relative to such permit.)
