1329.03 BUILDING PERMIT FEES.
(a) Residential Buildings; New Construction. (1) One-family dwelling $200.00 (2) Apartment house containing more than two dwelling units, per unit 75.00 (3) Motels or hotels, per dwelling unit 100.00 (4) An additional fee per 100 square feet of floor area or fraction thereof at the rate of 8.00 (Floor area shall be measured from plan dimensions by using the outside building dimensions and shall include all floors, including the basement, but shall include one-half of any attic floor.) (5) Breezeways (attached) 35.00 (6) Occupancy Permit 100.00 (b) Residential Buildings, Additions, Alterations, Repairs and Accessory Buildings, Garages. (1) One and two-family dwellings General Interior $175.00 (Separate permit required for electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire restoration.) Passed 5-7-19.) (c) Business, Commercial and Industrial Buildings; New Construction, Including Appurtenances Thereto - Review and Inspection. (1) Initial fee per floor or story: a base fee $300.00 A. Plus for every square foot of floor space or fraction thereof: (single tenant) .075 B. Plus for every square foot shell construction only per square foot (multiple tenant) .0375 C. Tenant buildout in new construction per square foot .0375 (Ord. 2019-047. Passed 5-29-19.) (Floor area shall be measured from plan dimensions by using the outside building dimensions and shall include all floors, including the basement.) (2) Dumpster enclosure 50.00 (3) Occupancy permit 200.00 (d) Business, Commercial and Industrial Buildings; Additions, Alterations, Repairs and Accessory Buildings. (1) Initial fee per floor or story: a base fee of $300.00 plus for every 100 square feet of floor space or fraction thereof 10.00 (Floor area shall be measured by using the outside building dimensions and shall include all floors, including the basement.) (2) Repairs or replacements of roofs: a base fee of 200.00 plus, for every 100 square feet of roof area or fraction thereof 5.00 (3) Occupancy Permit 200.00 (e) Foundations, New Construction or Additions. (1) Where no structural change is made and no new facilities (electrical, plumbing, heating, etc.) is added there shall be a minimum fee of: A. For one-family dwelling $100.00 B. For additions or accessory buildings to one-family dwellings 75.00 C. Apartment, business, commercial or industrial building 200.00 D. Additions or accessories for apartments, business, etc. $75.00 E. Plus for A., B., C., or D. an additional fee per 100 square feet or fraction thereof 10.00 (Floor area shall be measured by using the outside building dimensions.) (2) Where a structural change is made and/or floor space added and where new facilities are added, the base fee shall be as stated in subsection (e)(1) herein, plus any fees charged for the added floor space and new facilities. (f) Greenhouses. (1) Residential, not in excess of 240 square feet, initial fee 50.00 (2) Business and commercial, initial fee 75.00 (3) An additional fee per 100 square feet or fraction thereof in excess of 240 square feet, at the rate of 5.00 (Ord. 2019-034.
