1329.02 FILING FEES FOR EXAMINATION OF PLANS.
(a) New Construction or Alteration - Building Division Review Filing Fee. (1) For each one-family house, with or without attached garage $75.00 (2) For apartments, motels, hotels, business, commercial or industrial buildings, each building 250.00 A. Plan review fee deposit 750.00 (b) Moving Buildings - Building Division Review Filing Fee. Moving any building on the same lot or across a property line 100.00 (c) Change in Plans - Building Division Review Filing Fee. When revised plans are presented after a permit is issued, an additional filing fee shall be charged and collected before such revised plans shall be considered: Initial fee 20.00 Per one hundred square feet outside dimension 2.00 Maximum 75.00 |
(d) In addition to any other fees or deposits required by this or any other section of the Codified Ordinances, the Building Commissioner shall charge and collect a cash deposit in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for residential construction and in the amount of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) for commercial and industrial construction to reimburse the City for expenses incurred for architectural, engineering, legal or other professional services rendered as a result of the filing of an application for a building permit and a review of the building plans submitted therewith.
(e) In the event that the Building Commissioner determines that the monies deposited by an applicant as required by subsection (d) hereof are insufficient to reimburse the City as provided for in subsection (d), then the applicant shall be required to deposit additional monies to re-establish the fund to the original deposit amount when registered by the Building Commissioner.
(f) Any sums not charged against the deposit as required in subsection (a) or (b) hereo shall be refunded to the applicant no later than sixty days from the date of issuance of the building permit.
(g) No building permit for any apartment, motel, hotel, business, commercial or industrial building shall be issued prior to the above-required professional consultant review fees having first been paid to the City for reimbursement to the respective professional.
