1181.04 SCHEDULE OF REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES.
   The number of off-street parking spaces required shall be as set forth in the following
table:

1-1/2 spaces per dwelling unit.
Rooming house, rented rooms
1 space per roomer plus 1 space for resident family.
Multifamily dwelling
1 garage plus 1 open parking space per dwelling unit.
Hotel, motel, tourist home
1 space per rental unit or suite.
Institutional
 
Hospitals
1 space per 2 beds.
Clinics, health center
1 space per 150 sq. ft. of floor area.
Libraries, museums
1 space per 400 sq. ft. of floor area.
Places of worship
1 space per each 4 seats in the auditorium and assembly room.
Sanitariums, convalescent homes, children's homes
1 space for each 6 beds.
Funeral homes, mortuaries
1 space per 30 sq. ft. of assembly rooms, or 1 space for each 4 seats, whichever requires the greater number of spaces.
Public buildings, municipal and educational
1 space per each full-time employee plus 1 space for each 6 seats in assembly rooms.
Amusements and Assembly
 
Theaters, lodge halls, auditoriums, arenas, stadiums and other places of assembly
1 space per 4 seats in the building.
Dance halls, skating rinks, swimming pools
1 space per 50 sq. ft. of area used for dancing, skating or swimming.
Bowling alley
5 spaces per alley.
Golf course and driving ranges
1 space for each 2 employees and participants on premises during peak period.
Other
 
Medical and dental offices
1 space per 75 sq. ft. of floor area.
Retail stores, banks, other office buildings, service establishments
1 space per 150 sq. ft. of floor area.
Eating places, bars, taverns
1 space per 50 sq. ft. of floor area or 1 space for each 2 seats, whichever requires the greater number of spaces.
Commercial services, laboratories, storage machine shops and similar establishments
1 space per 400 sq. ft. of floor area or each 1-1/2 employees, whichever requires the greater number of spaces.
Manufacturing plants
1 space for each 2 employees in the maximum working shift, or for each 1,000 sq. ft. of floor area, whichever is greater.
Wholesale establishments or warehouses
1 space for each 3 employees on maximum shift or for each 3,000 sq. ft. of floor area, whichever is greater.
Automobile or machinery sales
1 space for each 800 sq. ft. of floor area.
Trailer parks
1 space for each lot to be occupied by a mobile home or travel trailer plus 1 additional space for each 4 such lots.
 
   For a specific building or use not scheduled above, the Building Commissioner shall apply the unit of measurement of the above schedule deemed by him to be most similar to the proposed building or use.
