1179.04 DESIGN OF SIGNS.
   Signs are herein classified and defined, according to design, as follows:
   (a)    Flat or Wall. A sign erected parallel to, or painted on the surface of, or integral with, the wall of any building.
   (b)    Projecting. A sign erected on the outside wall of a building and which projects out on an angle therefrom.
   (c)    Pole. A sign erected on a pole, poles or posts which is at least eight and one- half feet from the ground, which does not exceed twenty-five feet in height and which is wholly independent of any building for support.
   (d)    Ground. A sign erected on a pole, poles or posts or constructed upon footers, which does not exceed six feet in height and which is wholly independent of any building for support.

   (e)    Billboard. A sign erected as a fixed structure elevated from the ground by at least eight and one-half feet (between the bottom of the display area of the billboard and the ground), which does not exceed a maximum height of seventy feet and which is wholly independent of any building side or roof top for support.
