1160.01 PRINCIPAL PERMITTED USES.
   The following principal uses shall be permitted, subject to all pertinent and applicable provisions of this Zoning Code:
   (a)    Manufacturing. The manufacturing, compounding, processing, packaging and assembling of products such as:
      (1)    Manufacture of precision parts or products such as electronic instruments, photographic equipment, glass and optical products, jewelry, clocks, watches, radios, television sets and components;
      (2)    Building materials; sash, doors, insulation, wallboards, partitions and prefabricated house panels;
      (3)    Awnings, blinds, shades, brushes and brooms;
      (4)    Clay and ceramic products; pottery and small glazed tiles, structural tile, brick and pipe;
      (5)    Electrical equipment and supplies; miscellaneous manufacturing and assembly;
      (6)    Furniture, boxes, crates, patterns and similar small metal products;
      (7)    Glass products made from previously manufactured glass;
      (8)    Hardware and hand tools; dies and similar small metal products;
      (9)    Instruments and equipment for athletic, engineering, medical and musical purposes;
      (10)    Machinery and light equipment such as air conditioning, refrigerators, stoves, heaters, wash machines;
      (11)    Machine tools such as metal lathes, presses, stamping machines and woodworking machines;
      (12)    Metal alloys; miscellaneous products; brass, bronze, pewter, tin and lead, excluding manufacturing of alloys;
      (13)    Metal products, miscellaneous fabrication and assembly; cabinets, doors, fencing, furniture and small castings;
      (14)    Paper products; shipping containers, boxes, crates and newsprint, excluding manufacturing of paper stock;
      (15)    Porcelain products; kitchen and bathroom equipment.
   (b)    Experimental, Research and Testing Laboratories. Such laboratories allowed provided that no physical effects of the experimental, research or testing activity can be detected beyond the confines of the building in which the activity is located.
   (c)    Warehouses and Wholesale Establishments.
   (d)    Trade Shops. Shops such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, sheet metal, upholstering, machine, sign and display shops.
   (e)    Automobile Service Stations. Automobile service stations excepting specifically automobile filling stations and subject to the provisions of Chapter 1171; and specifically prohibiting the storage of wrecked or disabled vehicles.
