1123.22 BOARDING OR LODGING HOUSE.

“Boarding house” or “lodging house” means a dwelling or part thereof where meals and/or lodging are provided, for compensation, for four or more persons not transients, but not exceeding twelve persons. An establishment where meals are served for compensation for more than twelve persons shall be deemed a restaurant.
