955.01 GENERAL PARK REGULATIONS.
   The following rules and regulations shall apply to any park, playground or recreation facility owned by the City:
(a)    (1)    Other then the City Park, all other City playgrounds and recreation facilities shall be open only from dawn until one-half hour after sunset daily to City residents only.
      (2)    The City Park shall be open from dawn until one-half hour after sunset daily to City residents only or for City sponsored activities and activities scheduled by the Division of Recreation.

   (b)    The possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages or drugs of any type are hereby prohibited within any City park, playground or recreation facility.
   (c)    Licensed, motorized, two-wheeled vehicles are hereby prohibited from operation in any City park, playground or recreation facility except upon paved driveways intended for motor vehicular traffic. Unlicensed, motorized, two-wheeled vehicles are prohibited from operation in any City park, playground or recreation facility.
   (d)    Except for those areas in which specifically constructed facilities exist, golfing including any golf practice, is hereby prohibited in any City park, playground or recreation facility.
   (e)    Motor vehicles operating within a City park shall not exceed a speed limit of ten miles per hour.
   (f)    The carrying of weapons, hunting and the possession or discharge of fireworks are hereby prohibited in any City park, playground or recreation facility, provided, however, that fireworks and fireworks displays as authorized by Council or the Chief of Police for special events are permitted.
   (g)    Open fires, except in barbecue or charcoal grills specifically constructed by the City, are hereby prohibited within any City park, playground or recreation facility.
   (h)    Unleashed pets of any nature are prohibited within any City park, playground or recreation facility.
   (i)    Littering and dumping of refuse matter are hereby prohibited in any City park, playground or recreation facility.
   (j)    The Director of Community Life shall cause proper signs to be posted to carry out the intent of the above regulations.
   (k)   No person shall deface, mark, tamper with, displace or remove any sign, notice or placard erected, posted or placed upon any park, playground or recreation facility by direction of the Director of Community Life.
