903.08 UTILITY COMPANIES; MAIN LINES.

The East Ohio Gas Company, the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, Cablevision, the Water Department of the City of Cleveland, and Ameritech or agent thereof shall not make any excavations or openings in any public property for the installation, removal or replacement of any main lines without submitting plans therefor to the City Engineer and securing his approval thereon and paying to the Building Division an inspection fee based upon the number of hours required for such inspection. The inspection fee shall be a rate of not less than the current rate established for the City Engineer for inspection purposes.
