   901.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purposes of this chapter, certain words and phrases shall have the following meanings:
   (a)    "Work" or "activity" means and includes all work or activity involving, affecting or in connection with the construction, installation, enlargement, alteration, replacement, repair or maintenance of any sewer (sanitary or storm), curbing, paving, sidewalk or water lines.
   (b)    "Engineer" means the Municipal Engineer or his authorized agent, employee or appointee.
   (c)    "Division of Police" means the Division of Police of the Department of Public Safety.
   (d)    "Clerk" means the Clerk-Treasurer of the Municipality.
   (e)    "Inspector" means any person, firm, partnership, association or corporation duly qualified to perform such inspection as the Engineer shall determine.
