737.04 CERTAIN BUSINESSES EXCEPTED.

   This chapter shall not prohibit the sale or delivery of any material, product or service, the nature of which necessarily requires delivery upon the public street, highway, tree lawn or sidewalk, such as, but not limited to, materials and services needed for the building, rebuilding, repairing, laying or relaying of pavements, curbing, driveways, sidewalks, lawns, tree planting, installation or removal of water pipes, gas pipes, sewers, drains, telephone and electric lines and poles. Further, it shall not prohibit the operation of any authorized public or private transportation system upon the public streets or highways or the lawful transportation of lawful goods and services to private property for the purpose of sale, exchange or barter.
