161.03 DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND BENEFITS OF ASSISTANT TO THE CLERK OF THE MAYOR'S COURT; SUPERVISION.
   (a)    The Assistant to the Clerk of the Mayor's Court shall be under the direction and supervision of the Clerk of the Mayor's Court. The duties and responsibilities of the Assistant to the Clerk of the Mayor’s Court shall be as set forth in the City’s Employee Job Descriptions and as the same are hereafter amended and approved by the Mayor. The Assistant to the Clerk shall be at least eighteen (18) years of age and a high school graduate or possess equivalent experience and/or relevant education. The Assistant to the Clerk shall be in the unclassified service and receive such benefits as indicated under Chapter 157, Employees Generally.
   (b)    The Assistant to the Clerk of the Mayor's Court shall also perform the duties of the Clerk of the Mayor's Court in his or her absence. When time permits, the Assistant to the Clerk of the Mayor's Court shall also perform any duties assigned by the Division Clerk and the Administrative Secretary responsible for Police and Detective Bureau records in the Police Department.
