There is hereby established, in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly of the state, approved May 29, 1956, Pub. Law 1804, known as Act No. 600, its amendments and supplements, a police pension plan and fund for the benefit of all full-time members of the police force of the borough. The pension plan shall be known as the “Borough of Bedford Police Pension Plan” and the pension fund shall be known as the “Borough of Bedford Police Pension Fund,” hereinafter referred to as “the Plan” and “the Fund,” respectively.
