Exemptions include:
(A) Police, fire, ambulance, and other governmental emergency vehicles or pieces of equipment;
(B) Back-up alarm devices on trucks and other equipment when installed and operated in accordance with Society of Automotive Engineers recommended practice J944, “Criteria for Back-Up Alarm Devices;”
(C) Governmental warning devices (i.e., civil defense or fire siren); and
(D) School, civic, marching, or similar bands when practicing on school property, performing at school functions, or other functions approved by the Council of the borough.
