The Burgess, the President of the Borough Council and the Secretary are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the borough, Articles of Incorporation for said Authority, substantially in the following form:

ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
To the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
In compliance with the requirements of the Act of May 2, 1945, Pub. Law 382, as amended, known as the “Municipality Authorities Act of 1945,” the Borough of Bedford, County of Bedford, Pennsylvania, pursuant to a duly adopted ordinance authorizing the formation of a Municipal Authority, hereby certifies:
1. The name of the Authority shall be the “Municipal Authority of the Borough of Bedford, County of Bedford, Pennsylvania;”
2. This Authority is formed under the provisions of the Act of May 29, 1945, Pub. Law 382, as amended;
3. No other authority organized under said Municipality Authorities Act of May 29, 1945, Pub. Law 382, as amended, or under the Act of June 28, 1935, Pub. Law 463, as amended, or under the Act of December 27, 1933, Pub. Law (Special Sessions) 114, is in existence in or for the incorporating municipality, the Borough of Bedford;
4. The name of the incorporating municipality is the Borough of Bedford, County of Bedford, Pennsylvania;
5. The names and addresses of the Burgess and Councilmen and other municipal authorities of said incorporating municipality are as follows:

7. The ordinance authorizing the creation of said Authority, certified from the records of the incorporating municipality, together with advertisement of notice of filing these Articles of Incorporation are each submitted herewith; and
8. The term of existence of the Authority is increased to a date 50 years from the date of approval of these Articles of Amendment.
