The compensation of the Tax Collector of the borough shall be as follows for the borough taxes collected by him or her: for taxes on real estate collected at any time during the discount period, a commission of 2%; for taxes on real estate collected at any time during the face and penalty period, 4%; and for taxes on occupations, regardless of when collected, 4%.
