§ 70.50 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   EMERGENCY SERVICE VEHICLES. Any specially equipped motor vehicle operated by an ambulance, emergency management, fire or police department, agency, service, or association.
   IDLE. The operation of the engine of a motor vehicle at a time when the motor vehicle is not being moved regardless of whether the transmission of the motor vehicle is in park or in gear and regardless of whether the accelerator is fully engaged, partially engaged, or fully released.
   MOTOR VEHICLE. A self-propelled vehicle designed primarily for transporting persons or property including, but not limited to, trucks, truck tractors, motor homes, buses, vans, and passenger cars.
   PERSON. Any individual, natural person, association, partnership, firm, corporation, institution, agency, authority, instrumentality of federal, state, or local government, or other legal entity.
