(A) Any person, partnership, firm, organization, or corporation who shall violate any provision of §§ 52.01 to 52.07 shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of §§ 52.01 to 52.07 continues shall constitute a separate offense.

(B) (1) Any person who shall fail, neglect, or refuse to comply with any of the terms or provisions of §§ 52.20 to 52.31 (except failure to connect), or of any regulation or requirement pursuant thereto and authorized thereby shall, upon conviction before any District Justice, be sentenced to pay a fine of $600 and costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment thereof, to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of §§ 52.20 to 52.31 continues shall constitute a separate offense.
(2) Any owner who fails to make a proper connection to the sanitary sewer system within the time specified after receipt of proper notice or after obtaining a time extension in writing from the borough, as described in § 52.28(D) shall, upon conviction thereof before a District Magistrate, pay a fine or penalty of $50 for each day that the violation continues.
