The purpose of this chapter is to establish a registration program as a means to identify and regulate abandoned foreclosures and vacant properties within the City of Beavercreek. Furthermore, the intent of the registration program is to provide a mechanism to protect and preserve neighborhoods within the city from becoming unsightly and blighted due to the lack of adequate maintenance to the exterior of abandoned foreclosures and vacant properties.
