ORDINANCE NO 2023-08

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 7: § 3-7-1 through § 3-7-10: MARRIAGE LICENSES

   WHEREAS, Beaver County Code Chapter 7: § 3-7-1 through § 3-7-10 outlines Marriage Licenses. 

   WHEREAS, substantial public benefit would result from repealing the ordinance, to follow Utah Code Ann. § 30-1-1, et seq. regarding Marriage Licenses.

   NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF BEAVER COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH, AS FOLLOWS:

   CHAPTER 7: § 3-7-1 through § 3-7-10: MARRIAGE LICENSES, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take effect after publication of a summary of the ordinance, and no sooner than 15 days after its adoption.
