1-13-5: EXCEPTIONS:
   A.   The Beaver County Commission may authorize the purchase of equipment by the employee to whom it was assigned, at fair market value. Fair market value is to be established by the County Purchasing Agent comparing two estimates of the value of the assigned equipment.
   B.   The requirement for notice and auction may be waived for items with a current market value of five hundred dollars ($500.00) or less, if the commission finds that public notice and auction is not in the best interest of the citizens of Beaver County, and the property shall be sold at fair market value, as established in paragraph A. above.
