9-1-16: SEVERABILITY:

If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this title is for any reason held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not effect the validity of the remaining portion or portions of this title. (2004 Code § 10.02.170)
