(A) Entry pay level. The pay at entry for a new employee normally will be at the minimum hiring rate authorized for the job, but may be set at a higher level by the County Commissioners upon recommendation of the County Manager based upon prior training and experience of the new employee.
(B) Demotion. Demoted employees will normally receive the minimum pay for the position to which they are appointed.
(C) Promotion. Employees promoted to a higher paying job will normally receive the minimum pay for the position to which they are appointed.
