(A) The special flood hazard areas are those identified under the Cooperating Technical State (CTS) agreement between the state and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in its Flood Insurance Study (FIS) dated July 7, 2014 for the county and associated Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) panels, including any digital data developed as part of the Flood Insurance Study, which are adopted by reference and declared a part of this chapter. Future revisions to the FIS and DFIRM panels that do not change flood hazard data within the jurisdictional authority of the county are also adopted by reference and declared a part of this chapter.
(B) The special flood hazard areas also include those defined through standard engineering analysis for private developments or by governmental agencies, but which have not yet been incorporated in the FIRM. This includes, but is not submitted to, detailed flood data:
(1) Generated as a requirement of §§ 152.30(B)(11) and (B)(12);
(2) Preliminary FIRMs where more stringent than the effective FIRM; or
(3) Post-disaster flood recovery maps.
