The county shall require persons applying for a building permit within one-half aerial mile of a Voluntary Agricultural District to sign the following statement, which shall be maintained at the office of the agency administering this chapter on behalf of the Advisory Board: “I have reviewed the most current Beaufort County Voluntary Agricultural District Map and I understand that agricultural activities include, but are not limited to the following: pesticide spraying, manure spreading, machinery operations, livestock operations, burning, logging, and other common farming and forestry activities may take place in these districts any time during the day or night”.
