(A) No person shall construct a mobile home park or a travel trailer park or make any additions to an existing mobile home park or travel trailer park that either alters the number of sites for mobile homes or travel trailers within the park or affects the facilities required therein until first securing a permit authorizing such construction or addition. The construction or addition shall be in accordance with plans and specifications submitted with the application.
(B) The application for a mobile home park or travel trailer park construction permit shall be filed with the County Planning office at least 15 working days prior to the meeting of the County Planning Board at which time the application is to be considered. The application will be reviewed by the County Planner, Building Inspector, and the County Health Department. All applications for a manufactured home or travel trailer park construction permit will be accompanied by ten prints of a plat of the proposed park.
(C) Upon acceptance of an application by the Planning Board, the developer or his or her agent must notify all adjacent property owners by certified mail of the application. The list of adjacent property owners shall be prepared using public data available in the Tax Assessor’s office. The applicant shall proved a copy of the “green card” used for certified mail to the County Planner to provide documentation of the notification.
