(A) No vehicle shall be allowed to deposit waste at the county’s landfill unless the waste is enclosed in the vehicle or otherwise covered by some effective means. EFFECTIVE MEANS shall mean durable, heavy plastic or canvas with tie-downs and grommets in order to hold the covering in place. The Landfill Supervisor shall determine the adequacy of the covering and his or her decision shall be final. Any vehicle arriving on this site without being properly covered will be issued a citation for this and a thorough understanding reached by both parties to ensure this regulation is followed to the letter.
(B) All vehicles used to collect, transport, and deposit waste in the county’s landfill may be required upon request to complete admission forms giving the name and address of the owner of the vehicle, the source and type of waste to be deposited, and the weight and size of the vehicle.
(C) All vehicles which are not self-unloading shall arrive at the county’s landfill no later than one hour before the close of the normal operating day. Vehicles which are not self-unloading will be subject to control by the Landfill Supervisor so as to minimize vehicle congestion and provide easy access to the fill site for self-unloading vehicles.
