(A) Flood-control structural works such as levees, flood walls and the like shall provide, at a minimum, protection from a 100-year flood with a minimum of three feet of design freeboard and shall provide for adequate interior drainage.
(B) In addition, structural flood-control works shall be approved by the Department of Natural Resources.
